Ok, I know this board is new so I will have to set a few early rules so we can maintain a high standard of quality. 4chan’s /lit/ is dead, and full of /pol/ and retards so we need a greater board to rival it.
1) keep this board as highbrow as possible
2) keep lowbrow stuff on a general ot something
3) be nice and humble
“But anon-kun, you are being a snob”
I only want the board to live up to its potential. This board is perfect for users to have in depth talks about works of literature without teens and /pol/tards ruining it, this board is slow as well so thought out and longer posts will be perfect for it. What happens to internet communities that talk about lowbrow literature is that they end up dead, we need a dedicated niche audiance who will spend their time on this board and keep it alive out of passion. Because the tastes are so glued together, and the fact that these books are very in-depth, not only would this board have a higher sense of community but it will also have a lot to talk about between users.
Please don’t feel that I am a snob or be prejudiced against me because of it, I only want this board to be successful. I don’t mind a few threads about sci-fi or fantasy books, but it if you want this board to work you need a highbrow focus in order to bring a more dedicated community to pull it through.
Also, Proust is the best prove me otherwise.
This board doesn't have any users, dumbo.
