I'm watching a sasquatch play maneater
Honzuki no Gekokujou
Houkago Teibou Nisshi
Healin' Good Precure
halloween (2007) :>
too old to die young
series written and directed my the same guy behind drive and valhalla rising
basically a 13 hour art film cut into ten episodes
very stylistic, long cuts and slow dialog
Watching Elfen Lied, if only all shitty B-anime could be this funhttps://theatre.kissu.moe/kiss/elfen_lied
Gonna make time to see this this week.
need to stop watching the chuubas but they're too addicting
I hope you enjoy it.
The only good chuubas I know are Nekomiya Hinata and Shizuka(?) Rin. Especially Rin, I love watching her streams while laying in bed, ready to sleep. Oh and I guess PPH is also decent.
it's the best. Origin is probably one of my most favorite endings to an anime
Crap, now I'm rewatching a few episodes just to refresh my memory.
See you in 6 hours.
Watched the Castlevania cartoon people were raving about a couple months back and it was alright.
it gets a bit tarded in the last season because of cut content from the LN so you have to piece together some of the motivations. That said it's still very good.
It makes sense because he never really considers the emotions of other people
I'll forgive him if he eventually plunges a blade through Hecate…
Such amazing skill…
Someone wanted more animation budget..
Glad you enjoyed it; I could be a bit mistaken, but after multiple rewatches I get the impression that it isn't a very accessable work even for people who have seen plenty of anime, due to its reference-heaviness.
Sort of like watching a really old episode of Family Guy, many people just won't recognize the political characters in cameos or the events it discusses unless they're really versed in near useless trivia. Even knowing Japanese well enough doesn't help with it, so with each year I think SZS gets a little weaker although it was witty for the time.
That era of SHAFT and Kumeta Sensei's storytelling and meta commentary were just the perfect store.
Case in point: references to works by a kitsch style guro artist/grand guignole.
This scene really captivated me so I had to look it up.
Different guy. I knew of Suehiro Maruo since that one guro OVA that is relative popular, plus having an interest in 80's japanese post-punk.
Now a thing I do wonder is if the last SZS OVA had a reference to Sutyagin's house or if that was just a visual pun with no further context…
First ED switch!
I'll have to download certain HD raws and convert them for oyasumiBOKUTACHI WA
IKARU HODO NI
Not anime, but I started watching Twin Peaks. The first episode surprised me with how much emotion and mystery was packed into it from the start.
I'm pretty sure Twin Peaks is anime.
Says the ahoge >.<
Progressing through s2 and I think you may be right
yeah aside from the art which I liked more in the first season from what I've watched the second is better. It's kinda weird though, because it doesn't follow the first and they add some new characters right off the bat without introducing them.
As in recently after searching up why it was so below what I was expecting in terms of ecchi
The first season is absolute garbage, you should've at the very most watch a couple of episodes to get introduced to the characters and then drop it and go straight for the 6 episode OVA series and continue from there.
Always found watamote a bit difficult to get through. Not because it's bad or anything, just because it's… watamote.
In the latter half of S2 of Twin Peaks and it's gotten a bit odd, the Windom Earle subplot is nice, but the others haven't felt as strong as the earlier in the series. The James and Evelyn one being particularly crap. Also does anyone know what was up with Josie turning into a knob?
Finished Twin Peaks, I am confused now…
Did you watch the 2017 season?
The OG TLR manga isn't even that ecchi. The ecchi ramps up in Darkness.
Yeah, and that's why I'm confused. Did traveling back in time fuck everything up and now they're all dead, or is Cooper just trapped in some alternate dimension now?
