No.62013
What's /qa/ looking forward to in sequel season?
Chart:
https://www.livechart.me/winter-2021/tv No.62014
Yuru Camp, both Hataraku Saibous, and Non Non Biyori.
No.62015
>>62014What's with Hataraku Saibou having
two sequels in the same season anyways?
No.62016
Urasekai Picnic. I've heard that it is inspired by Roadside Picnic, which is one of my favourite books.
No.62022
Uwa...
What a boring-looking season...
Maybe Hortensia saga and Hataraku saibou black... I'll wait for kissu friends to post screencaps and webms of the others and pick up accordingly...
No.62032
Excluding sequels: Mushoku Tensei, Kumo desu ga, Ura Sekai Picnic. Other than that, I'll probably wait for other people's impressions.
No.62035
>>62033Can't say I see it the same way, the mere presence of Rin eating and more NNB makes it strong already, only has room to get better.
No.62040
I knew it was only a matter of time before sequels started becoming much more common... What a horrible timeline.
No.62042
>>62040In a sense it's not really sequels becoming more common, it's just that stuff that'd usually be animated all at once has instead become more split up in its release.
I can't say that I really dislike this either. It's not really like a Hollywood sequel where it's just making another of something that ended because it was popular, it's just giving rightful continuation to deserving works that still aren't fully adapted or finished yet.
No.62044
stoner, zero, yuru, and hopefully some movies from previous seasons get translated
The TbA section is more encouraging
No.62063
>Gintama: THE FINAL
Is Gintama seriously ending? I thought it'd go on eternally like wanpiss.
No.62101
nothing, if you haven’t seen any of the shows getting a sequel or dont want to watch what looks like low budget trash or a generic rom com then there’s not a single thing to watch
No.62273
Is it just me or does this season have a lot less anime than previous seasons?

>>62763>>62765Yokusoku no Neverland is worth catching up on
No.64301
the seasons already started and I still dont feel drawn to watch anything, barely any discussion of new shows here or on 4/a/, what a sad season
No.64303
Would probably talk more about airing stuff if I felt there was more interest in actually talking about anime...
No.64314
>>64301>>64303I'm going to wait a bit and watch the first episodes of some shows in the stream to see what's worth watching or not.
No.64338
>>64301That's a shame to hear. Personally, there is way more I'm interested in watching this season than in any other season for years.
No.64339
love rpg fantasy and isekai trash so i love this season
No.64340
>>64338Sequel season is a lot better when you've watched the things that are getting sequels. Not a lot this season that's really interesting outside of sequels
No.64341
>>64340I suppose that's fair. I primarily only watch seasonal anime when it is a sequel to a series I already enjoyed, otherwise I'd typically prefer just to binge it after the BDs are released, so the abundance of sequels is actually a large part of why I'm excited for this season. Besides for sequels, Urasekai Picnic and Horimiya stand out as worth a try to me, but it depends really on what genres you're looking for.
No.64373
>>62013>Seitokai Yakuindomo Movie 2What a pleasant surprise. I hope that they will never run out of material.

No.64623
The voice of /qa/ is in this one, but I'm just so tired of this whole isekai thing. Have you guys heard of it, isekai? It's really interesting!

No.64624
>>64623I've heard it's one of the really early ones. As in it was made before it became trendy to do so, so it's probably got some merit to it (I've also heard good things about the LN, and it's apparently finished so this shouldn't just be another advertisement). Definitely want to give it a watch when it doesn't have a giant ad on the bottom of it, which is in a couple days.
If you do want to see the first couple of episodes with a giant banner on the bottom, then have at it.

No.64625
>>64624Or... maybe not? It says 2012 so I guess people were exaggerating when they said it was
really early.
No.64639
>>64624>>64625It is, at the very least, one of the most popular and well regarded Narou series. (Not exactly effusive praise, I know.)
No.64864
I don't get why everyone is looking forward to Yuru Camp S2 so much, it's one of the dullest hobby SoL i ever watched
No.64867
>>64864I definitely wouldn't say it was bad or anything, but I did think it a bit over-rated. First episode of season 2 was great though. Really feels like they upped the art and animation quality from last time, and it is the kind of anime where the atmospheric elements are especially important.
No.64891
>>64864You have to keep in mind that Yuru Camp was a big crossover hit among people who usually don't watch Kirara adaptations and other SoL shows.
No.64898
>>64872I guess I'll be giving this a try tomorrow then, although I don't like the 3D girl there on the left
No.64899
>>64898Don't want to lead people on too much but
I made that post while watching the episode and left girl disappears, she's not like PapikaBut autist is cute
No.64903
>>64899Oh, I didn't mean her as a character, it's just that I think artists should do a better job of trying to hide 3D by avoiding angles like that. She looks like she's straight from a Love Live game, which is quite unfortunate for an anime.
Bleh... I need to build up a tolerance for 3D since it's only going to increase.
No.64904
>>64903I'm... surprised you noticed it. Even looking at the screenshot I still don't see it. Maybe my eyesight it getting worse.
No.64906
>>64904Not who you're talking to, but it's the shading. I always second-guess myself when looking at these things because digital coloring may have gotten to the point where you use the paint bucket tool and it produces too perfect a result, but the character posing in this case outs the drawing as 3DCG, or at least drawn from a 3D model without much care to disguise it.
What's worse is that the people who do this boast about using 3DCG to produce anime instead of feeling guilty and niwaka shower them with praise instead of looking down on it. Ufotable got on my bad side precisely because of this.
No.64912
>>64911Oh yeah haven't watched Jimiko either.
No.64913
>>64911How in the name of fuck did you drop so many shows with potential and keep that pretentious repulsive failed-normal preachy garbage Tonozaki-kun? It's the one anime from what I've seen this season I couldn't even make it through the first episode of. Or is there still more you haven't seen...
Anyways aside from that trash nothing's really warranted me dropping it just yet. Picked up more than I expected, probably will thin out as the season goes on.
No.64914
>>64913Oh, you're mistaken. I haven't dropped any shows. Everything not in that image I judged would be better watched all together rather than 1 episode per week.
No.64917
>>64915looks really
cute!
No.64919
>>64916I don't know really, there's something about cringe inducing/bad anime that go beyond a certain level of cringe/badness that makes me like watching them.

No.65327
The edgy healer anime is best thought of not as an anime but rather a fantasy rape eromanga. If you know what those are like and you go in expecting that it probably will be enjoyable. Those expecting a good story will be in for a sore disappointment.
No.65358
i like the stinky neet isekai one but actually i hate the main character a lot
litteraly he wouldnt have any problems in life if he didnt get fat
also i dont like the stupid trope that he became super magically powerful... there's some kid being mentored by merlin out there
neets dont have willpower or work ethic so he wouldnt be able to be good at anything. also he smells
Wixoss is kind of cute and the main girl is insane
the eggime is okay i guess but if the main character didnt have sexy legs i wouldnt watch it
No.65370
spinoff comedy series. doesn't advance the world, but talks about character interactions so I guess it's alright
No.65409

No.65432
