How much sleep do you tend to get? I passed out in my chair for ~3 hours and now I'm stuck being wide awake, and I tend to have sleeping sessions averaging 3-6 hours with short hour/hour-and-a-half naps sometime in the day. It's kind of hard imagining that most people get 8 hours+ regularly, though maybe /qa/ knows some secret way to fall asleep and stay asleep without being awoken while trying to get a long rest.

6 to 8 hours but it's harder to get out of bed the closer I am to only 6 hours of sleep. Sometimes I wish I could sleep more but either my body moves on its own or I'm waken up by noise.
If you feel well-rested, that's more than enough. Some people need more than 8 hours, others need less. I also know people who take an afternoon nap and then go to bed at 3 am and wake up at 8am.
•Conditioned myself to have a song that insta wakes me up, no snoozing
•sleep 6-9 hours a night
•utilize ride to and from work to recover sleep
•Wake up if nightmares start, because that means I am oversleeping. The body will make sure to give you pleasent thoughts if it wanted you asleep.
Realized just how important it is to force yourself into sleep whether you are easily able to or not when I noticed while looking at my clock that while trying to count seconds in Mississippis, 2 seconds would pass by. And that spooked me enough to where I forced myself into staying in bed all day and sleeping a total of 12 hours, now seconds are back to passing by as they should.
