I'm far from an experienced audiophile but I really believe Spotify is designed for the average normalfag who uses earpods and doesn't know how to pirate music. Lucida and the two sites below offer free alternatives with Flac support, yeet allows you to stream and I'm not sure about squid.

As someone passing by who just wanted to bump the thread for being inebriated, forgive me for potentially speaking out of turn. I'm somewhat sensitive to the issue of even a slight hint of substance abuse given I've been through it. My main question is that, are you at least genuinely having fun right now? Unfortunately things aren't that simple and I'm not fully equipped to give you a miracle answer but I hope you can look back at yourself now and at least have the consolation that you were enjoying yourself. I personally had a lot of things and opportunities slip due to my shortcomings and I regret that but I can't deny that at least I had fun so there's no use in beating myself up over it. Basically, strive to be a person that your future self can deal with. You got this.

Mostly a dud bunch. I got some items to support an erogame dev which were average. A touhou patchouli print has printing bands so it's defective. Two porno ones are cencored in the final product which is typically unusual.

      Artistic Rap

      Does /qa/ listen to rap?
I love artists that display mastery of techniques and diction. It's not limited to rap, any artistic display of ultimate authority over one's diction I find mesmerizing. Couple that with vivid story telling, and I'll listen to the same tracks on loop for months on end.
I'll be using this thread to introduce a couple artists I've been absolutely loving these past days. Also would like to see what /qa/ listens to.

Starting with someone most people into rap would know of; MF DOOM.
At first I didn't get the hype around DOOM. His tracks lacked all the characteristics of a mainstream song. No catchy rhythm, no hooks or choruses, just straight talking for half a minute or two. I didn't get what was so good about him.
      Heard about his
      >One for the money, two for the better green, 3-4 methylenedioxymethamphetamine
line in https://youtu.be/3k0LezNohJk , thought that was neat.
Few years after that, I decided to actually give DOOM a try, starting with Madvillany ( https://youtu.be/zQ0yXh_ADlQ&list=PL9dk_xtWpAkKs1-EKcvq-nKwdaaS-3czd ).
As I went on listening, the vibe of the album grew on me. The instrumentals by Madlib played a major role towards me liking the album. Then, once I started paying attention to the lyrics, it was like a new door of endless possibilities was opened for me. I liked his vocals, his voice, and the way he rhymed and was just having fun with rhyming in general. Just pure rhymes, no funky rhythm, no catchy hook, just raw rhymes. With all the references and slangs, I had no idea what the fuck he was saying.

Huh, the track in the Operation Doomsday I have downloaded only has DOOM's verse, no MF Grimm. Gonna have to download a more complete version.
Yeah, his verse is very personal.
I'd only heard of MF Grimm on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRbuk1ajz7o and he didn't really register to me.
That's an awful situation to find one's self in, but that also turns into a lot of fuel for making raps.

It feels like videos are much more attention captivating than music. As such trying to use them as "background" is a fairly contradictory task. Since one or the other will command your full attention to comprehend, and if you don't think so and believe you can forget what you're watching easily then you're most likely wrong. In that case you're taking nothing in from either activity you're doing. Most of the stuff you remember from "background videos" is from them taking up more of your attention than the primary task you were doing. Although if what you're doing is nothing and menial then it's probably not that big of a deal since you just wanted to watch the video and that's why you're doing a menial task. Otherwise music doesn't engage your brain to think too critically

I'll put videos on the side when doing something like refining a drawing or initial color stages because I've already done the mental work and problem solving. Another time it's good is grinding in something like an rpg. Even music can be too stimulating sometimes. It is background though because I couldn't tell you what's being said or what it was about, it's just noise for the sake of it.

It's nice to see someone else liking this artist, and his views going up. I found him a couple of years ago and purchased his first few releases on Bandcamp but haven't kept up since then. I don't like how his music videos try very hard to lean into the analogue VHS thing but the music is still good. 電球 is a little similar but hasn't released very much

I want to nakadashi *girl* has become a popular phrase on imageboards (mostly 4chan). But it's a mix of Japanese and English. If I was going to say "I want to cum inside Holo" fully in Japanese, how would I go about doing that? In the English sentence, nakadashi is a loan word and it is the action being done, but in Japanese I don't think 中出し is a verb. Can it be verbified by adding する to it? And then you conjugate it to say you "want" to do it. So the end result would be 私はホロで中出ししたい which would translate to I want to cum inside Holo. Am I correct?

      Japanese is fun to learn.

That's not a German word and your analysis of how this word would be pronounced in German if it existed is incorrect.
The vowel prior to a double consonant is usually unstressed, rather than stressed and "en" specifically drops the e sound, but other "vowel-n" word endings like "an" and and "on" also drop the vowel in a similar fashion. Comparing "High German" pronunciation to English pronunciation in general is a very bad idea, as English is not too closely related to modern High German in the first place.

You're right that it's not a good example example to use, I picked it arbitrarily, however the same thing happens with others like Lette or Kissen. That is besides the point though, that what I describe and what you describe are both the product of a sound system that was developed in Proto-Germanic.

¥"vermin" (don't know how he looks so didn't see a person, just someone who I knew to be vermin) verbally assaulting me while displaying he knows who I am, and knows which posts are mine...

Had a vinland saga related dream about surviving in swedish wilderness in winter as someone like Thorfinn (not the first dream in that location) and meeting some hermit survivalist large man with long black beard who lived there after killing one of his dogs as prey(?) and then going further south to fight/join some other warriors (once again, not the first time I had a dream in that location with similar plotline, previously it involved my village being razed I think), I think there were mutliple timelines. I also dreamt of traveling in tram in some city and then changing to another tram on a tram stop and then having my tickets controlled, and I think my middle school friend named (his pseudonym) was there too. And then I had Madoka Magicka dream, with darkness

Pickaxe and hammer are basic tools you need if you want to start with mining and smithing in Vintage Story. Next tool is a prospecting pick that will help you find ore veins that are deeper in the ground and do not have small pieces on the surface to indicate their position.

Not sure if it counts as a happening but 39chan recently had a Q&A with the voice actress of Namine Ritsu, who was one of the original 2channel prank vocaloids.

Aharen has sadly dropped the ball the past few episodes, focusing too much on side characters and actual normal high school plot stuff instead of the reasons I liked it to begin with.
At least it still has its moments like this, though.

I do often wonder sometimes how much of the "tfw no gf" stuff is performative and how much is me just differing from the norm. I can understand loneliness from a having nobody to communicate with perspective, and I can understand lust from a wanting to jerk off perspective, but something I think I've never come to understand has been the romantic need perspective. I've considered the prospect of having a partner before and determined it's too much devoting myself to another person for me to want to engage in that aspect of life, and even then for the most part I have hard times envisioning myself with anyone in real life and most of my fantasies have involved some sort of conquest partnership with my waifu. Likewise I'm able to appreciate and enjoy romance anime for what they are and passionately root for and feel happiness about the cute couples in them without feeling any envy or bitterness myself, while I see others all the time talking about how watching those anime opens up a hole of despair in their hearts. All I want out of life is to be able to enjoy myself and appreciate the art and media other people create, with my only real desire being to create some game or story of my own one day.

When I think about this topic, it always reminds me of prior conversations we'd have in the past about failed norms vs true sages. But then there's been plenty of stuff I've seen strewn about the internet about "epidemics" of people without love and how it's a big social issue or whatnot. It's just that not feeling those supposed pangs of desire myself makes it hard to believe

Why I say it's enough to just be real with each other? Because if we can lean on each other, if we know we can trust each other, which is such a fucking rare thing... Our natural inclination is to create amazing awesome and beautiful things. And together we could do it so easily. But for whatever reason, everybody seems to be hell-bent on either thinking and miserable ways or if they are indeed exciting people, then they are hell-bent on being kuso friends, undependable, untrustworthy, ignore you if it's inconvenient to address etc etc etc. people are cancer dude. I'm sorry, but it's just the truth. And even saying that and knowing that, I continue to give people chances, it's just that I'm not nearly as enthusiastic as I was as a kid. And that has been a net positive in my

If you're old enough to write all of this up, it's evident you're choosing to stay in ego-inflation narrative where your identity risks to be about being all special and disappointed. People that do have low compatibility as their main active barrier don't have the arrogance and zeal.
You're not entitled to not being lied to, and the more demanding and overbearing you'll get, the less people will be interested in getting along with you beyond the actually basic universal standards (passersbies and acquaintances). No one's going to be like a perfect parent for you, not without repercussions. Relationships hinge on some flexibility and tolerance, so who would even want to stay in one where even some inevitable misunderstanding would straight up cause a nuclear blowout on seemingly

idk dude. Whatever floats yous guys boat I guess. I find most of it so pointless and boring.

Why would you even consider smbd your friend if you occasionally lie to them. IDK IDK. All boring af IMO.

      >You're not entitled to not being lied to
This kind of thinking is exactly why I stay away from all of yall.
Yall don't realize you yourselves are making your life 10x 100x more boring than it really needs to be. But to each their own so on and so on..

Enjoy your half assed relationships that lead fucking nowhere and have no peace or passion in them anyway. Or maybe it great relationships, idk, idc tbh. This talk itself is tiring me. Never the less thanks for the chat.

Can someone explain to me why vtubers and ecelebs are treated like different entities when they're practically the same thing and bring basically the same kind of discussion aside from people also jacking off to one of the two? I think it even effects me to an extent because while I want to bully and humiliate vtuber posters, I don't feel the urge to physically reach through the series of tubes connecting us and strangle the people posting them.

      Fight pessimism with pessimism.
Anger over others == letting them control you, live in your head, etc. If you don't want internet strangers getting the better of you, keep your cool, and soon it'll become second nature.

Shondo is a cool woman. Gura was decent. Idk what you're talking about. If a woman is borderline funny, that's already worthy of a fucking monument. You don't come by that very often. Saying that all women are the same as ignorant.

I still think it's weird that the reasons Mace gives for why Sheev needs to die are political and not how difficult it would be to contain someone who can overpower all but a small handful of people in the galaxy just by pointing at them. It's especially strange since he himself was intent on arresting him until the lightning came flying.

I guess the answer would be "when it becomes impossible to disarm them."

Yeah, i was expecting someone to recognize it pretty quickly, would've been kind of sad otherwise if it'd been forgotten this soon. It was a really silly and fun anime. Still, the first guess in the room chat came a little earlier than i expected.
