Finally started my "buyfag" life; albeit not anywhere near the level I've dreamt of, with only second hand stuff so far.
What anime goods have you bought /qa/?

More powerful than you could possibly imagine. She can even do it while pouting. Pouts and question marks, a true kissu girl. She's so fun and cute that I could see myself getting a figure of her if I had the money. The anime should make her popular enough to get some figures I would hope, although it was already a cult hit with the manga.
I just ordered an Arisu figure.
Man fuck customs and their gay ass 25% duties. I had to cough up another $10 for them to deliver my figure, and I have some onaholes on the way too which costs way more and will undoubtedly be taxed as well. There used to be a $30 tax free limit on imported goods here but they scrapped that last year.
It ain't easy being a NEET.
I got a bishonen(blue lock) mug for Christmas but I would have strongly preferred to get a Bishoujo (Senshi Sailor Moon) mug.
Bought some cute mewkle stickers.
My collection has become a whole lot cuter

Very nice. Seems like it was an extremely unappreciated show outside of kissu and maybe some other imageboards, so it's good to see a BD sold to someone here.
literally nothing lately, they killed everything in my countreh and hrew away all the ppl who does something leaving only local substitutes with tm's
Careful Canadian importers...
Looks like the didn't see anything wrong. Just a standard degen, not an obscene one.
I have another package that's being assembled in Japan with mostly standard tastes. I will see if they open this too, and if so I might have to do something about some other stuff that will come for a third package
I was thinking that maybe the Japan-Rabbit branding targeted it as a possible source of confiscation materials. I think I'll try customizing my next delivery of tapestries to try and minimize the branding, but something in the delivery system auto-flagged it so I dunno what my options are if some of these items get looked at the wrong way. From what I gather they typically just confiscate materials that are too obscene and don't like to escalate beyond that.

From what I read they tend to flag first time imports. And I don't think they actually got to know "what" the tapestries were, but they knew they were tapestries, and they probably could deduce it was pornographic based on some other things that were layed out at the top of the package. And they tore open some sealed bags to see what was inside. They didn't open any of the tapestries though.
People get in lots of trouble for actual sex stuff, but I think they were just concerned about fentanyl.

yeah, i might need to find some way to quickly cover them. Maybe another string on the lower pipe, but some are double sided.
Have to figure out how to prevent people from looking into my appartment too if I make a mistake and get the angles messed up on the walls far from my bed.
Still have a bunch more to cover the majority of walls.. eventually a display cabinet for figures and other stuff.
ordered another set of SFW bunny-girl tapestries. All B2 size this time. I think with this my wall space will be fully replaced with doujin artwork
Also a couple of acrylics which I'll put near my TV for now. Pretty overpriced, but I don't know what materials go into making these
The colors on this one will come out very nice I think
At this point, I have to stop spending and actually put up a budget plan for a bunch of other stuff. I'll post images as things come in through to the end of April
Will have to find nice themed garage kits in Japan
almost want to buy this one too because it's very good an on limited time sale
https://booth.pm/en/items/6691015
Putting things into limited offering is very incentivizing to buy things you like.

c...can i meet the cat who lives here...
Bought these Girls Frontline 2 acryl stands from al*express for 5€, look to be originals but way cheaper than on anime merch sites.
Not anime but i bought some one way mirror film for privacy. It also seems to reduce heat transfer through windows
These two just are not getting delivered and I have like no way to find out. I'll just trust that they're taking a while to be made or something
So, uh... with 24% tariffs on Japan to go into effect soon... is there anything I should buy while it's still relatively cheap?
DHL is still running packages through Ohio -_-
I guess I'll know when these land somewhere. If they land in Cincinnati and I incur tariffs then I'm going to be sending out emails to all the JapanRabbit shipping options to see who's actually trying to minimize consumer impact. I have one last package which will have a high declared value.
Good news. New tapestries.
Bad news my other shipment is on hols in ohio.
I will post them over one another
This one was folded so it's creases. Also the material is less soft and more of a roguh type.
Creases on that are less of a big deal now
Fill up that wall with some more bunny... Have a chino cheer girl and the wall I'm leaning on with some lifesize gochiusa prints.
I don't think they took anything out but they unwrapped bubble wrap on one pair. I dunno. Makes me more nervous to ship in anything explicit. If you're wondering how the CBSA determines if something is prohibited, they have two people and both have to agree that it's explicit and should be confescated. Then you can contest the results.
I'm not sure how it goes when you fly across with bagage but they probably just randomly check carryon and only open checked bags in serious situations...
That's 2 / 3 which have been inspected. If you objectively think about it, then I imagine that either DHL or JapanRabbit are missweighing the items getting them flagged.
>>141754
Gotta protect Canada against the flat chest menace.
I think tapestries probably get flagged with higher probability. The long cylindrical rods wrapped in fabric for Xray, higher prices and lower weight to price ratio probably causes the system to flag it as a potentially risky item. So they open it up and just do some checks to see that it's nothing serious.
Given that the two items opened by CBSA were tapestry shipments while the other was not.. and given how this isn't a common occurrence on Reddit makes me think it's about package weight and how tapestries look on an xray
Anyways. Very close to being done. Just one more set of stuff which I'll consolidate all in one I think without any tapestry.
And anyways... Not like you would be able to import this anyways...

It might be technically legal but they'd probably try to find whatever technocality to impound it.
>>141780
Yeah. It's a dutch wife. China is really super into creating these and can run up to 4000 for something realisitic. Check the storefront catalog.
So if you want to imagine the future of robo waifu. That's like the price you'd pay before the robotic skeleton and software

>It might be technically legal but they'd probably try to find whatever technocality to impound it.
If I remember correctly, that is basically what happened to someone in my country some years ago, albeit his was more realistic looking.
Imagine hanging crosses in the places where i keep my merch
This artist's prints come out kinda blury up close compared to others, but the colors that they use and design are really nice.

For this person who is asking about https://booth.pm/en/items/6363254 on GNFOS . I would say they are good quality. I believe what the Japs mean by double suede is a better quality fabric than Suede.
These tap I bought has really nice fabric and print quality https://booth.pm/en/items/6473566 https://booth.pm/en/items/5972057
Meanwhile something like this had poor quality https://booth.pm/en/items/6413705 and is on polyester suede.
https://booth.pm/ja/items/6443158 This one's image quality is fine, but they folded it and the fabric is pretty rough.
So the gist here is that the image should look crisp(hard to know sometimes) and it should be printed on W Suede.
The video I posted has a good guide
I'm still struggling to tidy my PC room... I hope to do so this week, assemble a second display cabinet and post photos of both. I bought this in 2018 I think but never used it because I didn't feel comfortable doing so.
>>141869
Hard to explain my research on it without being kimoi. But they're definitely mostly scams because they use misleading photography. Silicone vs tpe produces better quality results, but silicone is lower durability. But theb it's another 1000 dollars or something
My shelf’s become more crowded
Junko Enoshima daki status, still alive
>>145113
That's a very snugglable Kuro, and other things...
New art. This one is glittered
Same artist. More standard
Am waiting on a couple of huge ones to finish the set. Almost done decorating.
Two other acrylics for my computer area.
For some reason pixiv has started cropping the images of a lot more lolicon items.
It's not like you can't buy them or if when shipping them in they're on the customs manifest, but it seems like there's a bit more government intervention in the transportation of physical merch out of Japan.
https://foxmoonbow.booth
It's not atypical that they have to do this, but is interesting to see that it's an active policy that's enforced.
I just bought a new fumo through buyee. Uhh I know I should have asked before buying but does the total price I paid include shipping or is that something I have to pay later? First time using buyee.
>>152704
buying from japan is really expensive when you take in VAT and shipping... For all my stuff I end up paying twice basically. I have the money, but it's still annoying as heck.
Like for decorating all the walls of my bedroom with tapestries it's probably like 600$ and I could still go further... then importing has probably been about 300$ on top of that... then you could add on accrylics, dakis and so on.
So if I wanted to do a big shopping spree of japanese stuff if I won the lottery it would be better in the end to just go to Japan and carry back 1400$ of stuff, pay the VAT as a good citizen and go on your way.
The other cost is that the government has opened my packages like 3 times now. They seem to have stopped and I think they didn't understand what tapestry rolls looked like, but if you violate local laws you could go in jail or confescates it..
At long last, my order cart on Japan rabbit is empty
When I go to glorious 日本 I'll have to get more... for now it's way too expensive.. not even paying tariffs and shipping + vat ends up costing the entire price of what I import.
Was wondering if you have to present ID to buy adult stuff in Japan as well and how a gaijin does that...

>Was wondering if you have to present ID to buy adult stuff in Japan as well and how a gaijin does that...
No you don't. Maybe if you look obviously underaged or are like wearing a school uniform or something then they'd ask, but otherwise it just works by the honour system. Plus, they don't want to have to figure out how to ask you in English and to decipher your ID any more than you do, so being a gaijin basically gives you a free pass in situations like that.
Canada Post went on strike and I'm wondering if a couple things I bought are actually going to be delivered...
Yay! I kinda have a good chunk of artwork in kinokonomi classroom bunny b2 set.
Also a bedsheet which I'll hang over probably my door frame
I'll have to find this artists booth at komiket

dumb deletard

The second one in the top row is the catalogue. Other than that, almost all of them are doujinshi, with the exception of the top left one (tankobon) and the far bottom left (illustration book). The pair on the right are doujinshi but without words IIRC.
A large portion of the stuff at Comitia was illustration books and other stuff of that sort, but I don't really have much interest in buying that kind of stuff unless it is from an artist I really like (and there were only two artists there that I am familiar with; neither selling anything I wanted), so that's why I didn't get many.
Also worth mentioning that Comitia is only for original works, not parodies, which is why none of the characters are recognizable.
>>154847
The two on the far bottom left are both by circle Far From Ok. One, Tsukumo Oujo, is an illustration book, the other, Ame, is a doujinshi of sorts. I thought the art-style was really cool, which is why I got them. The third black-and-white one on the bottom left, Atama Occult, is by a different circle (Maki Harigane), and I got it mostly because the printing seemed somewhat unusual. I haven't read it yet, but it looks to be a horror manga.
Went to the comic book store in the next town over today to buy a pop up parade suiggy figgy but it had been removed from stock. I was looking forward to seeing what kind of panties she was wearing...
Bloomers. I guess that's to be expected. Would have been nice if she wore some nice mature black pantsu though.
Mostly a dud bunch. I got some items to support an erogame dev which were average. A touhou patchouli print has printing bands so it's defective. Two porno ones are cencored in the final product which is typically unusual.
But it's worthwhile because Tony prints are very high quality
These two display pieces are also very nice. One from a game. The other an original
