At some point in the future people might refer to what's happening these days as a variation of a world war but I feel like it missed the "timing" for a true major world war. Kinda like instead of a balloon popping loudly it just deflates with random bursts from several holes and sharts all over the room. Case in point, the most recent event is already looking to be over. I might be jinxing it but I don't think things will escalate a whole lot even if china decides to join the fray

ww3 can't happen because all the nuclear states have warheads pointed at each other's capitals that'll go off automatically if anybody has any funny ideas. I know another oil state was recently invaded but the only conflict that's going to matter in 21st century is taiwan. world's most advanced chips are mostly produced there but their moat won't last long if china can get their euv machine online before 2030.
