Ask your doctor, don't take suplements on your own. Lots of people promote suplements online but there are health risks asociated with taking more vitamins than your body needs, specially Vitamin D.

Sunbathing is actually really nice, just get a nice little outdoor chair and chill for a bit

I live on one of the countries with most sunlight hours. I can't stand it.

As >>31768 said, go get your blood work done.
At least you'll know how deficient you are and how much you should take to offset that.

Not OP but I really don't like the feeling of sun against my skin, it feels sharp and uncomfortable.

if he does take supplements though >>31768 i think [link-ommited] units of vitamin D taken together with 100 mg of vitamin K (iirc that was the standard amount in 1 capsule, maybe it was 100 mcg i don't remember) daily should be optimal for recovering levels
i've been taking supplements for some time and that's how i did it, apparently vitamin K is important for some sort of processing of vitamin D and the health issues resulting from taking vitamin D is mostly because of not taking vitamin K with it

also i'm sure there's some food rich with vitamin D, internet says dairy

I take 5000 ui of vitamin D supplements a day, but this thread has made me reconsider and it's probably too much since I haven't done blood work. Interestingly I haven't gotten sick at all since I started supplementing it a couple years ago.

Please remember that the seasonal boards (currently /spg/) are the boards to talk about real life blog stuff like this. (or /qa/ if it's going to be a very thorough thread)
/jp/ is centered on 2D stuff.
PREPARE FOR THREAD MOVE!
